Taylor's of Pickering has been trading in Pickering for 35 years. The business was established by Leslie and Joan Taylor in 1965. Leslie and Joan's son, Keith, helped his father from a young age.

Keith was eventually made a partner in the family business, a position which he still holds today. Leslie has now retired, and Keith now oversees the day to day running of the warehouse and its staff. Joan runs the retail shop in Pickerings Main Street.
